GCBeVENT is one of the first in Poland innovative smartphone app designed for events (congress, conference, workshop, exhibition, city game, etc). The app is free of charge. Gdansk Convention Bureau offers it to the organizers for events held in Gdansk & Region.
GCBeVENT app is available for all operating systems: iOS (iPhone), Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone. App is available in Polish and English language version. The system consist of CMS and mobile app.
GCBeVENT detailed functionalities:
• list of delegates, speakers (connected with Facebook, Linkedin and twitter accounts)
• conference agenda (session, speakers, room, time)
• personalized agenda (possibility to choose from paralel session)
• venue (accessibility, floor plan)
• local map
• transfers schedule, public transportation, taxi
• sponsor zone – possibility to run quizzes, games
• post session evaluation forms
The app allows delegates to communicate before, during and after the event. They will receive all the information about the event in the mobile app. Information are uploaded by event organizers. Each delegate has his own profile. Delegates can also check detailed and updated agenda with the possibility to personalize the programme (choose own path from parallel sessions), see urgent changes in the agenda, information on workshops and keyspeakers, they are able to make notes and download their briefcase to email address provided during registration. Guests can communicate with each other through message section and post information on social media, that will automatically appear in the app. Sponsors and organizers have extra possibilities to promote themselves through quizzes and public wall. The only requirement is WIFI, that Gdansk venues offer free of charge.
