The Goldberg machine is a structure which includes mechanisms, devices and elements arranged so that together they compose a machine resembling a system of communicating vessels. After starting the machine, a domino effect takes place, and, for instance, a rolling ball releases a latch, which subsequently makes a book fall down, which pulls a cord attached to a hammer, which hits a fan, which inflates a balloon, etc.
Collaborative construction of a Goldberg machine is our idea for an original bonding party for your company!
Each team will create their part of its mechanism, which will be connected to that made by another team. At the teams’ disposal there will be various materials and simple devices as well as a specified amount of money that can be spent at our shop on other accessories. Each team will also receive guidelines on how to build the “heart” of the mechanism. However, the final appearance and functions of the machine will be developed by the teams themselves, under the watchful eye of our party animator!
The main advantage of this program is the way in which the maximum creative potential of the participants and team work are used to achieve a common goal.
